About Us

Founded by two former Greenwich High School Varsity Football Captains and proud alumni of the Greenwich Youth Football League (GYFL), the Winter Flag Football League was created to bring the energy, excitement, and teamwork of flag football into the winter season. As lifelong athletes who grew up in the local football community, we understand the value of structured, competitive play and the positive impact it can have on young athletes—both on and off the field.

Our league is designed for boys and girls from 1st through 8th grade, providing a fun, safe, and engaging environment where players can develop their skills, stay active during the winter months, and build lasting friendships. With a focus on sportsmanship, fundamentals, and competition, the Winter Flag Football League offers an ideal balance of instruction and game play for athletes of all skill levels.

Whether your child is new to football or looking to sharpen their abilities in the offseason, our program is committed to helping every player grow, compete, and enjoy the game.
